The aviation group seeks a civil engineer to design and manage airfield projects (runways, taxiways, aprons) and related facilities, directing task and project management and coordinating with clients and subconsultants.

The ideal candidate will oversee staff, develop schedules and budgets, and ensure contract document quality while applying FAA minimum

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering from an accredited program.
• Professional Engineer license or equivalent.
• 6–10 years’ experience in aviation airfield design or construction management/

Responsibilities

• AutoCAD Civil 3D surface model design and analysis for airfields.
• Prepare construction cost estimates and take-offs for projects.
• Develop aviation contract documents (plans, specs, estimates).
• Lead safety and phasing plan development and forms 7460 submissions.
• Coordinate project meetings and manage schedules, budgets, and staffing.
• Oversee staff, provide status updates to management, and mentor teams.
• Ensure compliance with FAA/DoD criteria and quality standards.
