Job summary

Tradewind Aviation, based in Oxford, CT, seeks a Maintenance Controller to manage all aspects of aircraft maintenance to ensure flight safety and operational efficiency. You will oversee scheduled and unscheduled maintenance, troubleshoot issues, and coordinate with dispatch, flight operations, and maintenance personnel to minimize disruptions and maintain the flight schedule.

Qualifications

• FAA A&P license required with 2+ years of maintenance experience.
• Valid US Driver’s License with clean record.
• Willingness to learn and train.
• Must be able to work weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical guidance and decisions on aircraft maintenance.
• Coordinate maintenance with dispatch, flight operations and maintenance personnel.
• Plan scheduled inspections and manage unscheduled maintenance to minimize downtime.
• Review maintenance release documents and initiate return-to-service procedures.
• Perform on-call duties on a rotating schedule.
• Ensure all maintenance complies with FAA regulations and company standards.
