Job summary

Contour is seeking a Maintenance Controller to oversee safe, compliant maintenance for the airline fleet. You’ll provide real-time technical direction, monitor aircraft status, and coordinate support to minimize disruptions while ensuring regulatory compliance.

The role requires deep aircraft systems knowledge, leadership, and the ability to manage multiple complex projects in a fast-paced environment. A&P license and extensive jet experience are essential.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 23 years old and hold an Airframe and Powerplant license.
• Completion of formal aircraft maintenance training for large turbine powered airplanes.
• Minimum of seven years as an aircraft mechanic and/or inspector for large, multi-engine jets.
• Minimum of five years on Bombardier CRJ200, Embraer 135/145, or Embraer Legacy 600.
• Proficiency with Excel, Word, Outlook and inventory/tracking software.
• Pass DOT pre-employment drug screen and background checks.
• Authorized to work in the United States and willing to travel.

Responsibilities

• Provide maintenance status to Flight Operations and Maintenance personnel.
• Communicate with flight crew about discrepancies and needed repairs.
• Plan, schedule, and coordinate maintenance using tracking systems.
• Update CMMS and Flight Operations Software with compliance data.
• Coordinate with Maintenance, Operations and Purchasing to expedite return to service.
• Track and authorize deferments (MEL, CDL, MCI) per procedures.
• Ensure deferrals align with manuals and FARs.
• Maintain forms and documents per General Maintenance Manual.
• Monitor ADs and short-term inspections; manage AOG parts.
