Job summary

TransMedics, Inc. is seeking an Aircraft Maintenance Controller to coordinate scheduled and unscheduled maintenance on the Aviation Fleet at base and remote locations, ensuring timely return to service.

You will collaborate with Pilots, Charter team and DOM/Assistant DOM to minimize disruptions and maintain safety. The role requires a minimum of 7 years in related fields and a valid A&P certificate along with a driver's license.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 7 years in aviation maintenance fields or combinations thereof.
• Valid and violation-free Airframe and Powerplant certificate.
• Valid driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Coordinates maintenance issues including AOGs, mechanical interruptions, emergencies with Pilots, Charter team and DOM/Assistant DOM.
• Manages parts for scheduled and unscheduled maintenance; coordinates with Parts for core returns.
• Evaluates discrepancies and develops repair or recovery plans.
• Communicates return-to-service estimates for AOG aircraft with Charter team.
• Monitors hours and cycles to schedule inspections and MEL/NEF/CDL items.
• Plans service checks and cleanings within aircraft schedules.
• Maintains RTS paperwork and digital filing; mails original paperwork to home base.
• Ensures maintenance activities comply with FAA regulations and OEM data.
• Performs other TransMedics tasks as assigned.
