Job summary

Global Crossing Airlines is seeking a Maintenance Controller to oversee and authorize all maintenance, PM, and aircraft alterations. You will act under the VP of Technical Operations to ensure regulatory compliance and safe return-to-service of the fleet, serving as the 24/7 technical liaison between flight operations, maintenance personnel, and management.

The role requires FAA A&P certification with Airworthiness Release authorization, and familiarity with Airbus A320 family operations.

Qualifications

• FAA Part 121 regulations knowledge required.
• Certified A&P with Airworthiness Release authorization.
• Experience coordinating maintenance and alterations on commercial aircraft.

Responsibilities

• Provide 24/7 representation for the VP of Technical Operations.
• Coordinate maintenance with mechanics, vendors, and staff across locations.
• Support real-time fleet decision-making for airworthiness and dispatch.
• Authorize airworthiness release decisions and RII per qualification.
• Ensure regulatory compliance with FAA rules and company policy.
