Job summary

Amentum is seeking qualified Aviation Electronics Technicians to support U.S. Navy maintenance operations at NAS Oceana, Virginia Beach, VA.

The role involves performing repairs on aircraft structures, engines, and systems under supervision, reading manuals, and adhering to safety and quality standards. Candidates should have completed Navy AT A School or equivalent, be able to pass background checks, and be willing to work outdoors and on detachments as required.

Qualifications

• Ability to read and interpret technical publications and manuals
• Must be physically able to perform duties
• Must have experience with maintenance tools and equipment

Responsibilities

• Perform maintenance on aircraft following orders from higher grade technicians
• Assist in troubleshooting malfunctions in aircraft structures, engines, and systems
• Inspect, repair, replace, and rebuild aircraft components and systems
• Maintain maintenance records and ensure safety compliance
