Job summary

JE Dunn Construction is seeking a Superintendent 2 to plan, manage and execute complex projects across the United States, reporting to the National Aviation Vertical. You will oversee material, equipment, staffing, quality, and schedule to ensure timely, profitable project completion.

Requirements include 5+ years of construction experience, strong leadership, and expertise in safety, budgeting and coordination with owners, design teams and authorities. Travel is 100% nationwide.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; preferred Bachelor’s degree in construction management, engineering or related field.

Responsibilities

• Leads all aspects of safety culture and ensures injury-free environment.
• Manages subcontractors, staff, suppliers and programs (Safety, Quality, EEO).
• Develops work plans for subcontractors and self-performed work.
• Coordinates and manages project site care, custody and control.
• Leads meetings and participates in progress and review meetings.
• Creates and updates the project schedule in collaboration with the Project Manager.
• Manages budget tracking and cost reporting.
• Maintains quality compliance through specs, QA/QC and external resources.
• Supports project closeouts and owner/architect coordination.
