Job summary

JE Dunn Construction is seeking a Superintendent 2 for aviation projects with 100% travel across the United States. You will plan, manage and execute complex projects, lead safety initiatives, coordinate with subcontractors and internal teams, and ensure on-time, within-budget delivery.

Responsibilities include developing work plans, managing schedules, controlling costs, and ensuring QA/QC. Strong leadership, communication, and Lean construction knowledge are essential for success.

Qualifications

• Requires High School Diploma or GED; Bachelor’s degree preferred in CM/Engineering.
• Minimum 3–5 years field supervision experience in construction.
• Experience with aviation projects is a plus.
• Proven ability to manage safety, quality and cost on complex projects.

Responsibilities

• Lead safety culture and ensure injury-free environment.
• Manage subcontractors, staff, suppliers and programs (Safety, Quality, EEO).
• Develop work plans and schedules; coordinate field operations.
• Monitor budgets, costs and project documentation.
• Communicate with owners, design team and authorities.
• Support project closeouts and pre-planning activities.
