Job summary

STV is seeking a Construction Manager - Aviation to join our PM/CM team in Austin, TX, working with an aviation client. You will direct and manage the project as the airport/owner representative, ensuring scope meets goals and stays on budget.

You will oversee RFP development, procurement, budgets, and schedules while coordinating with designers, contractors, and airport management. A strong track record in large airport projects and excellent communication are required.

Qualifications

• 15+ years of experience on airport projects
• Experience with projects >$50 million
• Experience with Design-Bid-Build, Design+CMAR, Design/Build
• Proven management track record
• Excellent written and oral communication skills
• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering or related field; Master’s preferred
• Optional certifications may include AAAE, LEED, PE, PMP, AICP or similar

Responsibilities

• Direct and manage the project as the primary liaison for airport/owner
• Develop and manage project scope to meet goals within budget
• Develop RFPs and oversee procurement for designers and contractors
• Ensure on-schedule completion and adherence to contract terms
• Coordinate budgets, schedules and coordination with airport management
• Oversee the Design Manager and design review during design and construction
• Monitor permitting processes and address construction obstacles
