Job summary

STV Construction Incorporated seeks a Senior Construction Manager - Aviation in Los Angeles to lead the PM/CM group for a major aviation client. You will direct owner relations, manage scope, develop RFPs, and ensure on-time delivery within budget while coordinating with Design Managers and airport management.

The role requires 10+ years in airport projects, experience with $50M+ ventures, and a background in multiple delivery methods such as Design-Bid-Build, Design+CMAR, or Design/Build.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of airport project experience.
• Projects typically >$50 million in value.
• Experience with Design-Bid-Build, Design+CMAR and Design/Build.
• Excellent written and oral communication; strong knowledge of industry practices and regulations.
• Bachelor’s degree in Architecture, Aviation, Business, Engineering, Construction Management, Planning or related field; Master’s preferred.

Responsibilities

• Direct and manage project as airport/owner representative to meet goals and objectives.
• Develop scope and manage to meet project goals.
• Develop RFP and oversee procurement for designers and contractors.
• Oversee the project to achieve on-schedule completion within budget and contractual obligations.
• Plan budgets, schedules and plan for project elements with airport management.
• Oversee Design Manager and Design Review Team (DRT) through all design phases; coordinate tests and approvals.
• Monitor permitting process and compliance with design and contractor requirements.
• Ensure work aligns with latest plans, submittals, changes, and RFIs.
• Maintain comprehensive documentation and narratives for scope and agreements, including CAD representations.
