Job summary

The AV Technician II will join our expanding team onsite with one of our global clients, delivering reliable AV/VC support across events and daily operations. You will troubleshoot issues quickly and coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure flawless conference experiences.

Candidates should have hands-on experience with AV systems, structured cabling, and control systems, with some travel to client sites required. A valid driver's license is preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED with 2–5 years of related AV experience.
• Ability to think and work independently under limited supervision.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to read AV and electrical drawings and schematics.

Responsibilities

• Install AV equipment and displays including conferencing devices and digital signage.
• Install and test cabling (Cat5e/6, HDMI, DVI, audio) and verify connections.
• Meet SLAs and keep ticket updates current.
• Upload Crestron control programs and coordinate with remote teams.
• Assist with inventory, stock levels, and RMA/DOA issues.
• Troubleshoot issues during events and perform pre-event checks.
• Interface with end users and vendors during events.
• Travel to client offices as required.
