Job summary

Astreya is seeking an on-site AV Technician II to support corporate AV/VC environments, including installation of equipment and control systems. This role requires problem solving, strong communication, and travel to client offices as needed.

The candidate should have 2–5 years of related experience, a valid driver’s license, and the ability to work independently to meet SLAs and deliver high-quality service during events.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED with 2–5 years related experience.
• Ability to troubleshoot AV systems and read drawings.
• Valid driver’s license with a safe driving record.

Responsibilities

• Install AV equipment and displays including audio/video conferencing, distributed audio, digital signage, control systems and presentation systems.
• Install structured cabling: pull, terminate, test cat5e/6, video, RGB, HDMI, DVI and audio cables.
• Meet SLAs and provide ticket updates; upload Crestron control programs and coordinate with remote team for certification.
• Assist with inventory: weekly/monthly stock levels, RMA, DOA issues.
• Perform pre-event checks, fault isolation and on-site troubleshooting during events.
• Interface with end users and vendors to address requests and requirements.
