Job summary

AVI-SPL is seeking an Onsite Maintenance Technician to deliver world-class customer service at customer site(s). You will partner with customers, management, Global Helpdesk and SIG teams to ensure on premises AV support and seamless event experiences.

Responsibilities include setting up conference spaces, maintaining equipment, training clients, and collaborating with teams while following safety standards. Some travel to multiple locations is required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 1–3 years audiovisual integration experience preferred.
• Ability to communicate effectively with customers and colleagues.
• Ability to use hand and power tools safely, including soldering & crimping connectors.
• Intermediate computer knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Set up and breakdown of conference spaces to meet event needs.
• Perform preventative maintenance on AV equipment and test/repair hardware.
• Clean AV equipment including lenses, monitors, and fans.
• Provide client training on AV technology as needed.
• Support tasks such as meeting support, non-complex AV installations, and video/audio recording where applicable.
• Collaborate with internal/external teams professionally.
• Adhere to local safety standards.
• Setup, operate and troubleshoot AV systems.
• Travel to various job sites as required.
