Job summary

Astreya Partners, LLC is seeking an AV Technician I to join our onsite team supporting a global client. You will install, configure and troubleshoot AV/VC systems, assist with cabling, control systems, and event support across locations.

You will travel to client offices as needed, meet SLAs, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth operations during events and daily work. This role requires a high school diploma and the ability to work varied shifts and drive as required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; 0–2 years’ related experience or training.
• Ability to think and work independently.
• Strong wiring/termination and installation techniques for AV equipment.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to read and understand architecture, electrical, structural and AV drawings.

Responsibilities

• Assist with installation of AV equipment and displays including audio/video conferencing gear, distributed audio, digital signage, control systems and presentation systems.
• Install structured cabling: pulling, terminating and testing cat5e/6, video, RGB, HDMI, DVI and audio cables.
• Meet SLAs and daily deliverables; upload Crestron control programs and coordinate with remote team for certification.
• Assist with inventory management, stock levels, RMA and DOA issues.
• Follow client policies, standards, and safety guidelines.
• Troubleshoot issues during installations and assist in problem solving.
• Set up, breakdown and troubleshoot equipment during events; perform pre-event checks.
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams and end users during events; interface with vendors.
