Job summary

Astreya in San Francisco, CA is seeking an AV Technician II to join our on-site team for a global client. You will install and support AV/VC systems, perform cabling, and assist with event setups and post-event wrap-up.

Travel to client sites is expected occasionally and you will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth deliveries. The role requires 2–5 years of related experience, strong customer service and communication skills, and the ability to read AV and electrical

Qualifications

High school diploma or GED with 2–5 years related experience.
Ability to travel to client sites as needed.
Strong customer service and communication skills.
Wiring and termination skills for AV installations.
Ability to read AV and electrical drawings.

Responsibilities

Install AV equipment and displays including conferencing equipment.
Install structured cabling and test cables (cat5e/6, HDMI, etc).
Meet SLAs and update tickets daily.
Upload Crestron control programs and coordinate with remote team for certification.
Assist with inventory and stock levels (RMA/DOA).
Perform equipment setups and troubleshoot during events.
