Job summary

Astreya is seeking an experienced AV Technician III to join our on-site team supporting corporate AV/VC environments. You will install, configure, and troubleshoot audio, video, and conferencing systems, with responsibilities including cabling, control systems, and event support across client sites.

This role requires strong diagnostic skills, the ability to work independently, and occasional travel to various client offices.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED with 5–8 years of related experience.
• Ability to think and work independently.
• Strong understanding of wiring and termination skills for AV equipment installation.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Ability to read and understand architectural, electrical, structural, and AV drawings.
• Willingness to travel for distant events and work various shifts.
• Valid driver’s license and safe driving record.

Responsibilities

• Install all AV equipment and displays including conferencing systems and digital signage.
• Install and test structured cabling (Cat5e/6, video, RGB, HDMI, DVI, audio).
• Meet SLAs and update tickets as required.
• Upload Crestron control programs and coordinate with remote team for certification.
• Manage inventory, stock levels, returns, and DOA issues.
• Follow client policies, standards, and safety guidelines.
• Troubleshoot issues during installations and events.
• Set up and breakdown equipment; perform pre-event checks.
• Coordinate with end users and vendors during events.
• Identify and resolve issues impacting client conference rooms.
