Nebraska Furniture Mart Inc. seeks an Electronics System Designer to sell to builders, architects, associations, and facilities such as healthcare, schools, and churches.

You will compile leads, visit customers, coordinate orders, and demonstrate products while building strong relationships with key stakeholders. The role requires travel within the territory, readiness to work flexible hours, and ongoing certification in distributed AV technologies.

Formación

• High school diploma or GED is preferred.
• 3 years outside sales experience.
• Clear understanding of distributed (whole house) audio and video technologies.
• Must become CEDIA Designer Level 1 certified within 18 months.
• Ability to read blueprints and specification books within 3–6 months on the job.
• Valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record.
• Microsoft Office; learn and use proposal/CRM software as directed.
• Proofreading skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work night, weekend and/or early morning hours based on business needs.
• Pre-employment screening includes background check.

Responsabilidades

• Compile lists of prospective customers for use as sales leads.
• Regularly visit customers, coordinate orders and installations, and lead problem resolutions.
• Demonstrate products using samples or catalogs and present features and benefits.
• Develop relationships with builders, architects, associations and end users.
• Write sales orders, coordinate deliveries and attend NFM exhibitions and home shows.
• Travel within assigned territory to solicit orders from single family, multi-family, and apartment owners.
