Job summary

Nebraska Furniture Mart Inc. is seeking a Senior Installer to deliver timely, professional installation and service for advanced electronics on residential and commercial projects.

You will work on systems integrating audio/video, lighting, motorized shading, surveillance, and smart networking setups. Responsibilities include leading installation efforts, coordinating tasks, maintaining safety, and serving as a technical resource for complex installations for customers and teams.

Qualifications

• 5 years of customer contact experience
• 5 years of electronics service, repair or installation experience
• Industry certifications preferred (Control4, Crestron, Cisco, CompTIA+, CTS, CEDIA)
• Thorough knowledge of home theater, home automation, A/V surveillance distribution, phone systems and home network systems
• Knowledge of cable/wire types, audio devices, construction requirements, equipment layout

Responsibilities

• Lead daily installation activity and coordinate with supervisor to keep on schedule
• Assign work, monitor progress, and prioritize tasks to support teammates and customers
• Promote safety by ensuring proper equipment use and procedures
• Consult as a technical resource for complex installations with customers and teams
• Resolve complex installation challenges requiring sound judgment
• Support project management to ensure efficient and high-quality installations
