Job summary

Nebraska Furniture Mart (NFM) is seeking a Senior Installer to deliver timely, professional installation and service for high-end electronics products. You will support advanced programming for residential and commercial control platforms that integrate audio/video, lighting, surveillance and network configurations.

The role requires extensive experience in electronics service/installation, strong teamwork, and the ability to work with builders and customers.

Qualifications

5 years of customer contact experience required.
5 years of electronics service, repair or installation experience required.
Industry-recognized certifications such as Control4, Crestron, Cisco, CompTIA+, CTS or CEDIA preferred.
Thorough knowledge of home theater, home automation and surveillance distribution.
Knowledge of cable/wire types and home networking systems.
Ability to work with builders, trades and customers with clear communication.

Responsibilities

Lead installation activity and coordinate with supervisor to keep on schedule.
Assign work, monitor progress and adjust priorities to support team and customers.
Maintain safe work environment and ensure proper equipment use and safety procedures.
Serve as a technical resource for complex installations with customers and teammates.
Address complex installation challenges with sound judgment and planning.
Assist with project management to complete installations efficiently and to NFM standards.
