Job summary

ForTech Solutions is seeking an AV Solutions Engineer to bridge sales, design, and field teams. You will translate client needs into practical AV/IT system concepts, build BOMs, prepare sketches, validate solutions, and assist with proposals.

You’ll remain a technical resource through the project lifecycle, supporting design, PM, programmers, technicians, and installers to ensure delivered systems meet client expectations and the original design intent.

Qualifications

• Proven ability to translate client needs into practical AV/IT system concepts.
• Experience in developing Bills of Materials (BOMs) and technical drawings.
• Ability to review architectural drawings and project documents for feasibility.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with Sales to develop technically sound AV solutions.
• Translate client requirements into system concepts and BOMs.
• Review designs for functionality, compatibility, and constructability.
• Assist with proposals and technical scope development.
• Support project teams through installation and commissioning phases.
• Explain complex technology to clients in clear terms.
