Job summary

Dartmouth College in Hanover, NH seeks an Assistant Director of Client AV Services to lead AV delivery for classrooms and events. You will supervise Client AV Technologists, ensure proactive service delivery, and align AV initiatives with Tuck’s mission and priorities.

The role requires 5-7 years of relevant experience, supervisory leadership, and strong AV technical proficiency across macOS/Windows and conferencing tools. Onsite role, 40 hrs/week.

Qualifications

  • Associate’s degree with 5-7 years of relevant work experience.
  • At least 2 years in a supervisory role.
  • Continuous learning and adaptation to AV technology trends.
  • Mastery in supporting AV systems, conferencing, macOS/Windows.
  • Strong client-focused service orientation.
  • Effective verbal and written communication.
  • Root cause analysis in complex systems.
  • Process-improvement experience with client experience in mind.
  • Relevant certifications: CTS, Crestron, Extron.

Responsibilities

  • Oversees Client AV technology services for classrooms, meetings, events.
  • Supervises Client AV Technologists and manages performance.
  • Evaluates and implements improvements to AV capabilities.
  • Maintains standards, equipment specs, and maintenance schedules.
  • Coordinates with AV Engineering for installations and upgrades.
  • Delivers training and instructional materials for users.
  • Provides backup operational support during high-volume periods.
