Job summary

AVI-SPL, Inc. is seeking an experienced Project Manager to oversee AV systems integration projects from initiation to completion. You will coordinate all activities to meet time, scope, budget, quality, safety and customer satisfaction targets in line with AVI-SPL processes.

The role requires directing project teams, managing risks and expenditures, and ensuring effective communication with clients. Travel to client sites will be required as needed, and the position offers a salary-based

Qualifications

• Minimum 3–5 years of experience as a Project Manager in Audio Visual, Construction, Technology or related industry.
• Proven project management and team leadership experience.
• Demonstrated management of multiple projects with strong time management and detail orientation.
• Effective communication and interaction skills.
• Creative problem solving and investigation skills to identify complex problems and generate solutions.
• Understanding of revenue, budget, margin and financial variance factors of assigned projects.
• Knowledge of technical, contractual and construction documents.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and MSProject.

Responsibilities

• Learn and comply with AVI-SPL standard processes and procedures.
• Serve as subject matter expert with contract documents for each project (scopes, drawings, specifications, contracts).
• Lead project kickoff meetings with internal and external stakeholders.
• Identify and manage project risk; escalate issues as needed.
• Create and manage comprehensive project schedules and resource plans.
• Coordinate material/equipment orders and project expenditures.
• Provide status reporting and escalate issues to management.
• Ensure quality of work by internal or subcontracted resources.
• Flag potential cost overruns and changes; ensure change orders are managed.
• Maintain strong relationships with customers, focusing on on-time delivery, quality, communication, and problem solving.
• Travel to job sites as required.
• Perform additional tasks to support team objectives.
