Job summary

AVI-SPL is seeking a Project Engineer to oversee the technical delivery of AV integration projects. You will review projects, finalize BOMs, drawings, infrastructure requirements, and network coordination in preparation for installation and commissioning, guiding teams to resolve technical questions across PM, fabrication, and field teams.

Qualifications

• Two or more years of experience in AV system design, integration, or field support.
• AV/IT standards familiarity and emerging tech such as AVoIP or unified communications.
• Strong IP networking knowledge; certifications are a plus.
• Formal education in Electronics, Engineering, or related field.

Responsibilities

• Design Finalization and review SOW/contract for quality and feasibility.
• Create required engineering documents with CAD (infrastructure drawings, floor plans, elevations).
• Generate cable pull sheets and coordinate network aspects.
• Perform heat, power, and structural calculations; audit BOM lines.
