Motion Recruitment is seeking an AV Project Coordinator on a 1-year contract based in New York City. The role emphasizes AV-focused project coordination, technical documentation, and ensuring complete testing evidence is captured in Jira and Confluence.

The ideal candidate has 3–5 years of AV project experience, familiarity with engineering workflows, and strong attention to detail, with the ability to translate technical discussions into clear documentation for cross-functional teams.

Qualifications

• Approximately 3–5 years of AV-focused project coordination or related experience.
• Ability to write clear and accurate technical content.
• Working knowledge of AV systems, terminology, devices, and engineering workflows.
• Experience with Jira and Confluence.
• Attention to detail, follow-up, and document control.

Responsibilities

• Create and maintain AV engineering documentation in Jira and Confluence.
• Review Jira stories to confirm complete testing evidence, screenshots, attachments, and supporting information.
• Develop procedures, test plans, product documentation, and Confluence pages for new AV technologies.
• Capture technical information from engineers and convert it into usable documentation.
• Support documentation for security assessments and threat models.
• Track documentation deliverables and follow up on incomplete records.
• Partner with the Project Manager to improve Jira governance and engineering workflow discipline.
• Organize product, testing, design, and operational information for future support teams.
• Coordinate across AV engineering, project management, product management, security, and infrastructure stakeholders.
