Qualifications

• Working knowledge of AV systems, terminology, devices, and engineering workflows.
• Experience with Jira and Confluence.

Responsibilities

• Create and maintain AV engineering documentation in Jira and Confluence.
• Review Jira stories to confirm complete testing evidence, screenshots, attachments, and supporting information.
• Develop procedures, test plans, product documentation, and Confluence pages for new AV technologies.
• Capture technical information from engineers and convert it into usable documentation.
• Support documentation for security assessments and threat models.
• Track documentation deliverables and follow up on incomplete records.
• Partner with the Project Manager to improve Jira governance and engineering workflow discipline.
• Organize product, testing, design, and operational information for future support teams.
• Coordinate across AV engineering, project management, product management, security, and infrastructure stakeholders.

Job description

Our client is a trusted IT infrastructure and managed services provider serving enterprise customers worldwide. Based out of New York City, they are looking to hire an AV Project Coordinator on a Contract basis.

Contract Duration: 1 Year Contract (Potential for extension)

Required Skills & Experience

• Approximately three to five years of AV-focused project coordination, technical documentation, or similar experience.
• Demonstrated ability to write clear and accurate technical content.
• Working knowledge of AV systems, terminology, devices, and engineering workflows.
• Experience with Jira and Confluence.
• Ability to understand technical discussions and identify missing or incomplete evidence.
• Strong attention to detail, follow‑up, and document‑control skills.
• The three-to-five-year range was specifically discussed as reasonable for this position, provided the experience involved AV projects rather than general IT project coordination.
• Preferred Profile
• Experience creating methods of procedure and test plans.
• Familiarity with AV product onboarding and technology‑approval processes.
• Exposure to IT infrastructure, security, risk, logging, monitoring, or threat modeling.
• Experience supporting AV engineering teams in a large enterprise.
