Job description

Job Title: AV Maintenance Technician

Duration: 30-day contract (potential extension)

Pay Range: $30-35/hr (negotiable based on experience)

Summary:

The AV Maintenance Technician is responsible for performing preventative maintenance tasks to help maintain customer spaces, as well as field installation and support of AV control programs.

Responsibilities:

1. Perform preventative maintenance tasks to help maintain customer spaces, including ensuring all technology functions as designed and testing/repairing various hardware components.
2. Clean various AV equipment, including camera lenses, monitors, and equipment fans.
3. Support tasks in a timely and quality manner, including meeting support, installing non-complex AV components, and supporting video/audio recording where applicable.
4. Understand and adhere to local safety standards for all site duties.
5. Set up, operate, and troubleshoot various audio/video systems.

Qualifications:

• 1-3 years of experience as an AV technician.
• Experience working with Crestron, Extron, Biamp, Polycom, etc.
• Experience with MS Teams, Zoom, WebEx.
• Basic networking/AV networking experience.
• Experience supporting corporate meetings.
• White glove service experience.
