Job summary

Vision Technologies seeks an AV Service Technician to diagnose, repair, and maintain complex commercial audio-visual systems. The role involves troubleshooting control, DSP, video, and networked devices, performing preventive maintenance, and ensuring systems return to full operation with minimal downtime.

The technician will document work performed, communicate status to stakeholders, and coordinate with vendors for escalations.

Responsibilities

• Perform reactive break-fix service, preventative maintenance, and warranty support for commercial AV systems.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot AV faults across control, audio, video, DSP, switching, and network devices.
• Restore systems to operation within SLAs and perform system health checks per manufacturer guidelines.
• Coordinate parts, RMAs, and vendor support when escalation is needed.
• Document service activities, tests, and recommendations with clear labor entries.
