Job summary

Archetype Infrastructure Solutions is seeking an Audio Visual Technician to install, configure, test, and maintain AV systems in commercial and data center environments. Qualifications

• Experience installing or supporting commercial AV, low-voltage, structured cabling, or telecommunications systems.
• Basic understanding of audio visual technologies, signal flow, and IP networking.
• Ability to read construction drawings, wiring diagrams, and installation documentation.
• Experience using hand tools, power tools, testing equipment, and cable termination tools.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Install and configure AV equipment including displays, projectors, and videoconferencing systems.
• Pull, terminate, label, and test low-voltage cabling and support infrastructure.
• Read blueprints and installation drawings; perform firmware updates and testing.
• Troubleshoot audio, video, network, and control system issues to ensure performance.
• Coordinate with project managers and other trades to meet schedules.
