Job summary

Encore in Burlington, MA is seeking a Technician to set up and operate basic audiovisual systems in a hospitality setting, ensuring guest satisfaction. You will report to an Operations Manager or Director, Event Technology and work on on-site events.

You will handle equipment setup, troubleshooting, and coordination with staff and vendors, maintaining accurate event records in Navigator and assisting with invoices.

Qualifications

• 1 year of customer service or hospitality experience is preferred.
• 1 year of audio-visual experience or equivalent in an educational environment is preferred.
• A valid driver’s license is required for team members that may operate Company vehicles.
• External applicants must meet/validate and complete all training and certifications within 60 days of start date.

Responsibilities

• Sets up, operates, and breaks down basic audiovisual equipment as listed in the qualifications.
• Strives to exceed the expectations and needs of internal and external customers.
• Troubleshoots equipment and software issues in a timely and professional manner.
• Completes order entries and paperwork; interacts with staff and vendors for equipment.
• Works with clients to finalize invoices and ensures the equipment setup works properly on site.
