Job summary

Textron Systems is seeking new and recent graduates for an internship in Sea Systems to develop solutions for unmanned surface vehicle programs. You will design, simulate, construct, and field-test autonomous systems, contributing to autonomy technologies that enhance mission capabilities.

Ideal candidates are pursuing a STEM degree and have experience in C/C++, C#, Python, or Java, with the ability to work full-time during a summer and obtain security clearance as a U.S. citizen.

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing bachelor’s degree in computer science/computer engineering/CIS/MIS or related field.
• C/C++, C#, Python, and/or Java programming
• Ability to work 40 hours/week over the course of a summer on a combination 5/8, 4/10 schedule, with every other Friday off!
• This position requires the ability to obtain a security clearance (U.S. citizen)

Responsibilities

• Providing engineering support on next generation technologies and proven platforms.
• Participating in software development of new products across all phases of the design lifecycle—from concept to lab integration and evaluation concepts.
