Job summary

Textron Systems is seeking new and recent graduates to join our Sea Systems business area to develop solutions in support of unmanned surface vehicles. Your day may include designing, simulating, constructing, and field-testing autonomous surface vehicles and subsystems.

We deliver disruptive autonomy technologies across applied research and development and established programs, with a strong emphasis on teamwork and real‑world impact.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a bachelor's degree in computer science/engineering or related field.
• Proficient in C/C++, C#, Python, or Java.
• Able to commit to 40 hours/week for a summer with alternating Fridays off.
• U.S. citizen eligible for security clearance.

Responsibilities

• Provide engineering support on next-generation technologies and proven platforms.
• Participate in software development across the design lifecycle from concept to lab integration.
• Explore embedded control systems to operator interfaces and mobile device applications.
• Collaborate within a multi-functional team on exciting Textron technologies.
