Job summary

Rivian is seeking a Site Coordinator for the Autonomy Systems Validation team in New York. You will plan, coordinate, and lead a team of vehicle operators for on-road and facility tests, ensuring safety protocols and data collection procedures are followed.

You will collaborate with hardware and software engineers, develop training materials, and drive performance with clear KPIs and dashboards. Some overtime and travel may be required.

Qualifications

• Previous supervisory experience, preferably in automotive driving or autonomous testing.
• Self-motivated, organized, and capable of good judgment in fast-paced environments.
• Excellent written and verbal communication; able to describe events concisely.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate project requirements and scheduling, ensuring coverage.
• Assign test routes and vehicles based on availability and test plan.
• Act as primary on-site contact for the vehicle operator team.
• Develop processes, procedures and work instructions.
• Collaborate with engineering to achieve strategic goals.
• Prepare training materials and assist onboarding of operators.
• Maintain operator relations and resolve conflicts to ensure a productive environment.
• Monitor test schedules, driving habits, and implement procedures as needed.
• Set operational KPIs and develop reports and dashboards.
