Job summary

Rivian in New York is seeking a Site Coordinator for Autonomy Systems Validation to lead a team of vehicle operators on public roads and private facilities. You will coordinate test plans, ensure safety protocols, and collaborate with hardware and software engineers to meet strategic goals.

The role requires shift availability 6:00a-2:30p, strong organizational and communication skills, and a valid driver’s license with a clean MVR.

Qualifications

• Experience supervising teams in automotive driving or autonomous vehicle testing.
• Ability to travel and work overtime.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• Proficient with smartphone, laptop, and Google Docs/Sheets/Maps.
• Must be 21+ with a valid driver’s license and clean driving record.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate project requirements and scheduling, ensuring sufficient coverage.
• Assign test routes and vehicles to operators based on availability and testplan.
• Serve as on-site primary contact for the operator team.
• Implement processes, procedures, and work instructions.
• Collaborate with engineering to achieve strategic goals.
• Prepare training materials and assist onboarding of new operators.
• Motivate operators to reach objectives and maintain safety standards.
• Maintain relationships and resolve conflicts to keep a productive work environment.
• Monitor test routes and driving habits, adjust procedures as needed.
• Set KPIs and develop dashboards to report results timely.
• Ensure tools and equipment are organized and accessible.
• Perform vehicle inspections and basic troubleshooting on hardware/software.
• Oversee data transfer from vehicle to cloud/servers.
• Must work 1st Shift (6:00a - 2:30p).
