Job summary

Rivian in Seattle is seeking a Site Coordinator for autonomy systems validation. You will plan, coordinate and lead a team of vehicle operators for on-road and facility testing, ensuring safety protocols and smooth execution of test procedures.

You will collaborate with hardware and software engineers, develop training materials, monitor performance, and report results through dashboards. The role requires shift 6:00a-2:30p and ability to lift up to 50 pounds.

Qualifications

• Previous supervisory experience in automotive driving or autonomous vehicle testing.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• Attention to detail with concise event description.
• Proficiency with smartphone, laptop, and Google tools.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate project requirements and scheduling, ensuring coverage.
• Assign test routes and vehicles to operators based on availability.
• Act as primary on-site contact for the operator team.
• Implement processes, procedures and work instructions.
• Collaborate with engineering to achieve goals.
• Prepare training materials and assist onboarding of operators.
• Motivate operators to reach objectives and maintain safety standards.
• Maintain operator relations and a productive work environment.
• Monitor test/route schedules and driving habits; implement procedures as needed.
• Set KPIs and develop reports/dashboards to report results.
• Ensure tools and equipment are organized and accessible.
• Perform vehicle inspections and troubleshoot hardware/software issues.
• Oversee transfer of drive data to cloud/servers.
• 1st Shift: 6:00a - 2:30p
