Job summary

Rivian is seeking a Site Coordinator to lead a team of vehicle operators in autonomous vehicle testing on public roads and private facilities. You will coordinate test routes, ensure safety protocols, and work with hardware and software teams to achieve strategic goals.

Responsibilities include training new operators, tracking performance, and generating reports. The role requires strong organizational skills, reliability, and willingness to travel and work overtime as needed.

Qualifications

• Experience supervising vehicle operators.
• Able to perform various tasks as requested.
• Self-motivated, organized, and capable of performing in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficiency with a smartphone, laptop, and Google tools (Docs, Sheets, Maps).
• Flexibility to work overtime and travel as needed.
• Must have a valid driver’s license in your state of residence.
• Continuous Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) monitoring will apply.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate project requirements and scheduling, ensuring sufficient coverage.
• Assign test routes and vehicles to operators based on availability and testplan.
• Act as the primary on-site contact for the operator team.
• Implement processes, procedures and work instructions.
• Collaborate with engineering to achieve strategic goals.
• Prepare training materials and assist in onboarding new operators.
• Motivate operators to reach objectives and maintain safety standards.
• Maintain operator relations and resolve conflicts in a positive environment.
• Ensure test/route schedules are maintained and driving data is collected.
• Set KPIs and perform data analytics to measure success.
