Job summary

Anduril Industries is seeking a Test & Evaluation engineer to advance mission autonomy testing for autonomous systems such as Fury UAS. You will design test plans, analyze data, and work with software, hardware, and product teams to verify performance in simulated mission profiles.

Responsibilities include end-to-end test management, simulations, and collaboration across disciplines. Travel to testing locations and ability to obtain U.S. Top Secret clearance are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering, CS, robotics or related field or equivalent autonomous systems testing experience.
• Minimum of 3 years flight testing with autonomous or remotely piloted systems.
• Proven ability to develop and execute test plans under tight timelines.
• Familiarity with mission autonomy, unmanned systems, and asset integration.
• Strong analytical skills to interpret data and diagnose behaviors.
• Track record of cross-functional collaboration to meet milestones.
• Excellent communication skills for technical topics.
• Willingness to travel and work flexible hours.
• U.S. Top Secret security clearance eligibility.
• Pre-employment and random substance screening.

• Drive the advancement of testing methodologies for mission autonomy systems to ensure robust performance in complex operational scenarios.
• Design and implement test plans for autonomous systems across simulated mission profiles.
• Analyze test data to validate performance and identify improvement areas.
• Collaborate with software, hardware, and product teams to define test requirements.
• Lead end-to-end test management and deliver clear reports to teams.
• Execute and analyze simulations that replicate real-world scenarios to accelerate testing.
• Coordinate with private and government test ranges for evaluation.
