Job summary

AutoNation in Orlando, FL seeks an Autonomous Vehicle Service Advisor to coordinate repair orders, liaise with technicians and our vehicle partner, and ensure OEM standards are met at our service depot. This role emphasizes accuracy, documentation, and collaboration with parts teams to minimize downtime while maintaining safety and quality.

The position requires strong customer service, clear communication, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment with cross-functional teams.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent; technical automotive certification preferred.
• ASE certifications are a plus.
• Experience in a service advisor role within automotive/autonomous tech is beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Initiate and process repair orders for warranty and non-warranty work.
• Allocate work to Autonomous Vehicle Technicians based on skill and workload.
• Monitor repair progress and provide updates to the Autonomous Vehicle Partner.
• Collaborate with parts providers to source components to minimize downtime.
• Participate in daily service depot meetings with insights on performance.
• Maintain comprehensive documentation of service activities and ensure transparency.
• Adhere to policies, procedures and safety standards; promote continuous improvement.
• Ensure repair procedures align with manufacturer guidelines.
