Job summary

AutoNation is seeking an Advanced AV Technician to diagnose, repair, calibrate, and integrate autonomous vehicle systems. You will troubleshoot powertrains, high-voltage components, and sensor suites, while supporting software deployments and hardware integrations.

Qualifications

• 3–5+ years of automotive/EV/robotics/AV technician experience.
• Strong diagnostic experience with mechanical and electrical vehicle systems.
• Hands-on experience with sensor systems (LiDAR, radar, cameras) and computer hardware.
• Proficiency with diagnostic software, scan tools, and electrical testing equipment.
• Ability to interpret wiring diagrams, schematics, and engineering documentation.
• Valid driver’s license with clean driving record.

Responsibilities

• Advanced Diagnostics & Repair: Troubleshoot powertrain, high-voltage systems, and driveline components.
• Sensor & System Calibration: Calibrate LiDAR, radar, cameras, GPS, IMUs, and perception units.
• AV Hardware & Software Support: Install/replace AV components; support software deployments and data extraction.
• Field Operations & Testing: On-road/closed-course testing and real-time issue resolution.
• Documentation & Continuous Improvement: Maintain logs and drive process improvements.
