Job summary

AutoNation is seeking a dedicated Autonomous Vehicle Service Advisor to support our service depot and collaborate with our Autonomous Vehicle Partner. You will initiate repair orders, allocate tasks, monitor progress, source parts, and maintain thorough records to drive efficiency and quality.

The role requires a strong customer focus, clear communication, and experience in automotive service advisement; ASE credentials are a plus.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; associate degree or technical certification in automotive technology preferred.
• ASE certifications are a plus.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a customer-centric approach.
• Proficiency in using service management software and Microsoft Office Suite and Google Workspace.

Responsibilities

• Initiate and process repair orders for warranty and non-warranty work, ensuring accuracy and OEM compliance.
• Allocate work assignments to technicians based on skill and workload for efficiency.
• Monitor repair progress and provide timely updates to partners; address concerns promptly.
• Collaborate with parts providers to source components and minimize downtime.
• Participate in daily service depot meetings; provide insights on performance and improvements.
• Maintain comprehensive documentation of all service activities; ensure transparency and accountability.
• Adhere to company policies, procedures, and safety standards; promote continuous improvement.
• Ensure repair procedures meet manufacturer guidelines.
