Job summary

AutoNation is seeking a Service Advisor to join a nationwide team servicing 20,000 cars daily, helping customers understand technician recommendations and identifying upsell opportunities to keep drivers safe.

In this role you will act as the liaison between customers and service technicians, walk customers through needed maintenance, and ensure transparent estimates and timelines. You will help deliver an exceptional service experience and drive loyalty.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Proven ability to provide an exceptional customer experience.
• Ability to set and achieve targeted goals.
• Prior sales experience preferred but not required.
• Demonstrated communication, consultative, interpersonal and organizational skills.
• Willingness to follow up with customers.
• Experience and desire to work with technology.
• Valid in-state driver’s license and an acceptable, safe driving record.

Responsibilities

• Set, confirm and prepare for appointments with customers for a great service experience.
• Meet or exceed targeted sales goals and customer satisfaction index.
• Greet customers when they arrive.
• Determine vehicle needs based on information and walk-arounds.
• Use consultative selling to plan for maintenance.
• Produce repair orders with cost and time estimates.
• Communicate with technicians and parts to ensure timely work.
