Job summary

TSMG seeks Autonomous Vehicle Safety Operators to support testing, validation, and commercial robotaxi deployments across North America. You will monitor vehicles, intervene when needed, and collaborate with engineering, fleet operations, and depot teams.

No AV experience required; comprehensive training will be provided. Candidates should have 5+ years of driving experience, a clean record, and the ability to pass background, drug, and alcohol screening.

Qualifications

• Valid driver's license.
• Minimum 5 years of driving experience.
• Clean driving record with no major violations.
• Ability to pass background verification (BGV).
• Ability to pass pre-employment and random drug and alcohol screening.
• Excellent situational awareness and defensive driving skills.
• Strong communication and reporting skills.
• Upper-Intermediate English.

Responsibilities

• Operate and monitor autonomous vehicles during testing and commercial robotaxi operations.
• Supervise self-driving system performance with awareness of traffic conditions.
• Take control of the vehicle when required by procedures or safety protocols.
• Complete assigned routes complying with local regulations and procedures.
• Support deployment of autonomous ride-hailing services with safe operation.
• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure readiness.
• Report damage or abnormal vehicle behavior to depot/technical teams.
• Maintain accurate operational records and documentation.
