Job summary

Nuro is seeking Autonomous Vehicle Operators to join our on-site Santa Clara team for a temporary, full-time role with full benefits. You will operate test vehicles, perform inspections, and gather data to improve our self-driving technology.

The position requires overnight shifts 10:00pm–6:30am PT, a valid California driver’s license, a clean driving record, and the ability to pass background checks and drug testing. You’ll represent the company and work safely in real-world conditions.

Qualifications

• Current valid California driver’s license and possess a US license for 3+ years.
• Clean driving record; pass a criminal background check and drug test.
• Willing to learn autonomous vehicle processes and operate in real-world conditions.

Responsibilities

• Operate a vehicle in manual and autonomous mode up to 8 hours per day.
• Use proprietary software to collect data and provide feedback to engineers.
• Perform daily vehicle inspections and basic maintenance tasks.
