Job summary

Nuro, based in South San Francisco, CA, is hiring Autonomous Vehicle Operators for on-site work. Qualifications

• Must have a current valid California driver’s license with 3+ years US driving history.
• Clean driving record and ability to pass background check and drug test.
• Willingness to train and pass checkpoints in and out of vehicle.
• Able to work 5 days a week on specified shifts.

Responsibilities

• Operate autonomous test vehicles in manual and autonomous modes up to 8 hours daily.
• Provide feedback to engineers using collected data from real-world scenarios.
• Troubleshoot operational issues and coordinate with Mission Operations to meet mileage targets.
• Conduct daily vehicle inspections before and after missions.
• Perform basic vehicle maintenance tasks (wash, inflate tires).
• Engage with the public when appropriate to explain autonomous vehicle tech.
• Represent the company professionally during high-profile ride-alongs.
