Zusammenfassung

Aurora is seeking a Class A Driver based in Palmer, TX to pilot autonomous semi trucks and support testing for development and pilot operations. 40 hours per week guaranteed, with day and night shifts, including weekends.

This 12-month assignment offers a performance bonus up to $2,000 and opportunities to collaborate across Aurora teams. Role requires interstate CDL, DOT compliance, and readiness for travel.

Qualifikationen

• Minimum 3 years of experience driving trucks commercially.
• Valid U.S. Driver’s License.
• Interstate Class-A Commercial Driver's License.
• Driving record must pass Motor Vehicle Report (MVR) guidelines.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Ability to travel as needed: up to 90%.
• Available to work night shifts (second and/or third shift).
• Ability to work rotating shifts as needed.
• Ability to work regular overtime and some weekends.
• 80% of shift time spent in vehicle (vehicle as office).
• Must pass pre-employment, post-incident, and randomized drug testing per FMCSA.
• Is at least 21 years of age.
• Must pass DOT physical.
• Meet all DOT qualifications.

Aufgaben

• Safely pilot autonomous semi trucks for on road and closed course testing.
• Remain alert and attentive while monitoring the Aurora Driver during extended autonomy.
• Log real time feedback regarding autonomy and platform performance.
• Escalate operational blockers with suggested solutions.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with teams to drive progress.
• Demonstrate positive impact on cross-functional projects.
• Maintain up to date knowledge of how our self-driving technology works.
• Manage required partner applications, accounts, and access permissions.
