Job summary

Aurora seeks a Class A Driver based in El Paso, TX for a 6-month assignment with possible extension. You will pilot autonomous semi trucks for road and closed-course testing, monitor the system, and relay real-time feedback to engineers.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of experience driving trucks commercially
• Valid U.S. Driver’s License and Interstate Class-A CDL
• Driving record must pass MVR guidelines
• Must pass pre-employment, post-incident, and randomized drug testing per FMCSA
• Able to travel up to 50% and work night/rotating shifts
• Must be at least 21 and pass DOT physical and qualifications

Responsibilities

• Safely pilot autonomous semi trucks for on-road and closed-course testing
• Monitor Aurora Driver during extended autonomy periods
• Log real-time feedback for engineers
• Escalate blockers with solutions
• Collaborate cross-functionally across teams
• Engage with the public as an Aurora ambassador
• Maintain up-to-date access and certifications across partner platforms
• Pursue mandatory certifications and accreditations
