Job summary

Aurora is seeking a Class A Driver based in Palmer, TX, to pilot autonomous semi trucks on road and in controlled environments. You will collect real-time feedback for engineers and support cross-functional teams to advance Aurora’s mission.

The role requires 3+ years of commercial truck driving, a valid CDL, and the ability to travel up to 50% with night/rotating shifts. You will operate in a dynamic, safety‑driven environment and engage with partners and the public as an Aurora ambassador.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of experience driving trucks commercially.
• Interstate Class-A Commercial Driver's License (CDL) and valid U.S. Driver’s License.
• Meet all Motor Vehicle Report (MVR) guidelines and FMCSA requirements.
• Able to travel up to 50% and work night/rotating shifts.

Responsibilities

• Safely pilot autonomous semi trucks on road and in closed courses for testing and operations.
• Log real-time feedback regarding autonomy and platform performance to engineers.
• Escalate operational blockers with suggested solutions.
• Collaborate cross-functionally to drive progress on Aurora’s mission.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of self-driving technology and daily software/operational changes.
