Job summary

Aurora in Texas is seeking a Class A Driver for a 6-month assignment with potential extension. You will safely pilot autonomous semi trucks, monitor performance, and provide real-time feedback to engineers as part of Aurora’s testing and pilot operations.

The role requires CDL, MVR compliance, and the ability to work rotating night shifts with up to 50% travel. Hybrid work expectations are noted for collaboration with multiple teams.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of experience driving trucks commercially.
• Valid U.S. Driver’s License and Interstate Class-A CDL.
• Driving record must pass MVR guidelines and DOT qualifications.
• Able to work night shifts, rotate schedules, and travel up to 50%.

Responsibilities

• Safely pilot autonomous semi trucks for on-road and closed course testing.
• Log real-time feedback and escalate blockers with solutions.
• Collaborate cross-functionally to advance Aurora’s mission.
• Maintain up-to-date status in required partner applications and access.
• Meet mandatory certifications and participate in safety programs.
