Job summary

Aurora in Phoenix is seeking a Class A Driver for a 6-month assignment with potential extension. The role includes day and night shifts with rotating weekends on a per-location basis. You will support autonomous truck testing and data delivery to engineers while maintaining required certifications and safety standards.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience driving trucks commercially.
• Valid U.S. Driver’s License and interstate Class-A CDL.
• MVR must meet guidelines.
• Able to pass DOT physical.
• Age 21 or older.

Responsibilities

• Safely pilot autonomous semi trucks for on-road and closed course testing.
• Monitor Aurora Driver during autonomy and provide feedback to engineers.
• Log real-time feedback on autonomy and platform performance.
• Escalate blockers with suggested solutions.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to advance Aurora’s mission.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of self-driving tech and daily software changes.
