Job summary

Cornerstones of Care is seeking a Functional Family Therapist to join our outpatient team. You will deliver FFT with a flexible schedule, manage a caseload of 10-14 families, and receive training and certification in the FFT model under the supervision of the Clinical Manager - FFT.

You will document services in the CSS system, use MyAvatar for confidential information, monitor progress, and maintain fidelity to the FFT process while providing strength-based family support in Johnson County and

Qualifications

• Master's degree in a field eligible for Kansas BSRB licensure.
• Being currently licensed by the Behavioral Sciences Regulatory Board to practice in Kansas is preferred.
• At least 21 years of age and pass background check, physical, and drug screening.
• A valid driver's license in the state you reside in, proof of current vehicle insurance, and reliable transportation.

Responsibilities

• Engages clients and families in a manner that demonstrates immediate responsiveness to family needs and maintains a strength-based relational focus. Persistent outreach efforts may be required.
• Utilizes the CSS system to document services and to plan treatment according to the FFT model.
• Utilize other systems required, such as MyAvatar, to manage confidential client information.
• Monitors progress in treatment and adjust the phase of treatment as indicated.
• Demonstrates fidelity to the FFT model by use of phase system.
• Assures quality service for clients by addressing core issues within the family that contributed to the reasons for referral.
