Job summary

Cornerstones of Care is seeking a Functional Family Therapist to join our team in Kansas. Salary range is $52,000–$62,000 with a $5,000 bonus package including sign-on and retention components. The role supports a caseload of 10–14 families and reports to the Clinical Manager – FFT.

Training and FFT certification will be provided; the position offers autonomy with flexible scheduling within a service‑oriented team dedicated to evidence‑based practice for children and families.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in a field eligible for Kansas BSRB licensure.
• Current licensure by the Behavioral Sciences Regulatory Board in Kansas is preferred.
• At least 21 years of age and passing background check, physical, and drug screening.
• A valid driver’s license in the state of residence, proof of current vehicle insurance, and reliable transportation.

Responsibilities

• Engage clients and families, responding promptly to family needs while maintaining a strength‑based relational focus. Persistent outreach may be required.
• Use the CSS system to document services and plan treatment according to the FFT model.
• Utilize other required systems, such as MyAvatar, to manage confidential client information.
• Monitor progress and adjust treatment phases as indicated.
• Demonstrate fidelity to the FFT model by following the phase system.
• Ensure quality service and address core family issues contributing to the referral.

Education

Salary Range: $52,000 - $62,000

Bonus: $5,000 (includes $2,500 sign‑on paid on first paycheck and $2,500 retention bonus after 12 months of service)

You will join a service‑oriented, close‑knit team providing Functional Family Therapy (FFT), a nationally recognized evidence‑based intervention to children and families. Training and certification in FFT will be provided. The position is autonomous with flexibility in scheduling sessions, supporting a caseload of 10‑14 families, and reporting to the Clinical Manager – FFT.
